We know hard times come.

The inception of VPEF all began with a rainy day situation. When programs are cut in a school, sometimes private citizens must assist in order to keep that program going or to keep the program well-staffed or supplied. This was the inception of VPEF. There was a budget shortfall in 2003 and Vacaville desperately needed funds to keep arts and music programs going. Several private citizens rallied their resources in order to support these programs and that is how we became the Vacaville Public Education Fund. Our grants are not just for big ideas, they are for necessary programs that must stay in place in order for education to remain strong. If your program is in jeopardy or you need immediate help, please reach out to us.
